A bold title, but what's behind it? What do slim and toned people do differently? Do they spend hours in the gym? Do they eat only salad and chicken? Or do they eat anything at all?
Because many people ask themselves these questions, I'd like to list five points that might help. Of course, every person is different, but there are some common patterns.

1.
Focus on your behavior, not the outcome. The right behavior, the correct actions, and considered decisions bring success. If you only focus on your outcome, you'll forget the present moment. And NOW is what matters. Think long-term and realistically!

2.
Be aware that a calorie surplus leads to more body fat. If you eat too much for your size, have too much stress in your daily life, and don't exercise, you'll automatically gain weight. So A) educate yourself about food and how much you should consume B) exercise more C) get professional advice along the way.
PS: there are no bad or forbidden foods, it's the dose that makes the poison!

3.
Train because you enjoy it, not just to burn calories. Find a sport that makes you lose track of time. Strength training, functional training, and bodyweight training can help you tone your body. Don't be afraid of heavy weights; they'll get you to your goal faster than you think.

4.
Invest money and time in your health. Nothing is as important as your health, so don't skimp on your food or exercise. Your body is the center of everything. If your body is no longer functioning properly, it will affect every other area of your life.

5.
Focus on unprocessed, local foods. Seasonal fruits and vegetables. Wholesome carbohydrates and plenty of protein. Consume sufficient omega-3 fatty acids and fewer processed foods.
Strawberry yogurt is easy to make with a blender, a handful of strawberries, and plain yogurt. This way, you know exactly what's in what you're consuming ;)
