Bad thoughts and what they do to our bodies!

A few years ago, I came across the " rice experiment ," but I hadn't really looked into the topic. Many people struggle with negative thoughts about themselves. They look at themselves in the mirror, think they're ugly, fat, and can't understand how anyone could love someone who looks like that. These are just a few of the thoughts. Perhaps you have even worse ones yourself?!?!

Where do these thoughts come from? Perhaps you're comparing yourself too closely to others, or perhaps you've been subjected to bullying and had to listen to comments about your big ears, your crooked nose, your rolls of belly fat, or your feet, which are simply much too big for your height? It's important that we can stop these thoughts in your head immediately, because using the rice experiment, I want to show you what's happening in your body.

How does the rice experiment work:
The Rice Experiment was developed by Dr. Masuro Emoto. It is intended to prove that water crystals have feelings and can think. Two jam jars are filled with cooked rice and then sealed airtight. To avoid confusion, both jars are labeled: One jar is the "hate jar" and one jar is the "love jar." Every day, the jars are flooded with hate or love. If you search for "The Rice Experiment" on YouTube , you'll find various examples. The "hate jar" is insulted viciously, while the "love jar" is flooded with compliments.

According to Masuro Emoto, you should notice a change after just one month. Due to the insults, the water crystals in the rice react with depression and begin to mold. The rice turns brown and shrivels. The "love rice," on the other hand, remains white.

I've never tried the rice experiment myself, but our bodies are made up of 60-80% water, and if there's even a tiny bit of truth in that, then we should start absorbing more good thoughts than bad ones as soon as possible. After all, you don't want to get moldy from the inside, do you?

I would like to give you some tips on how to live life more positively:

  • Eliminate comparisons: If you find yourself constantly looking at women or men in magazines, on Instagram, or at the pool who you think look better, then turn it off! Stop buying those magazines, delete your Instagram profiles, and focus on the pleasant water, the soothing sun, and your friends at the pool. Because just comparing won't change anything about your body.
  • Start and end on a positive note: Buy yourself a nice notebook and a great writing pad. Keep it on your nightstand and write down every night what was positive about the day. When you get up in the morning, write down what you're looking forward to today. I did this every day for three months, and eventually, I no longer needed the notebook because I was automatically grateful in the evening and looking forward to the day in the morning.
  • Bad thoughts don't change anything : Wake up from your "negative world"! If you see that you're 10 minutes late for an appointment, then that's just the way it is! Then you're not a moron, not an idiot, you're simply late, with or without bad thoughts. If you look at your belly in the mirror and think it's too big, then you can't change that with your thoughts; on the contrary --> according to experiments, you can rot inside :P... If, on the other hand, you're a little more relaxed with yourself, you can achieve a lot more. Do a sport because you enjoy it, find a diet you like, don't plan your whole life so you can stick to some diet, but don't forget to live! With positive thoughts, you can change and achieve a lot more!
  • Love your neighbor as yourself! No, I haven't read the Bible, and I don't really think that statement is appropriate, because most people probably love others more than themselves. However, I firmly believe that if you are kind and respectful to others (whether animals, plants, people, or furniture), it will come back to you.

As I said, I have no idea if the rice experiment really works, but I find it very exciting and hope that I was able to give you some valuable input so that you can treat yourself more positively, because you deserve it like every other living being on this planet :).
